Keith Archibald is Ballast Service’s Co-Founder and CEO. Keith is responsible for vision, strategy and growth of Ballast’s solutions that empower businesses to innovate, optimize, stabilize and secure IT processes, systems and teams. Keith leverages over 30 years of experience across multiple industries to lead the company's efforts in providing game changing technology services.
Prior to founding Ballast, Keith served as the Chief Technology Officer at Vology, Inc. where he was responsible for leading all aspects of Vology’s technology service organization including IT managed, security, professional, field and cloud services. Keith played an instrumental role in the development of Vology’s technology strategy and ensured consistent delivery of world class service and support for the company's customers.
Prior to Vology, Keith served as Senior Vice President of Network and Professional Services at Vital Network Services, where he was responsible for planning and operational oversight of all aspects of Vital’s Managed and Professional Services activities. He helped drive the growth of Vital's managed services and was instrumental in the strategy, planning and execution of Vital's acquisition by Vology.
Earlier in his career, Keith worked at T-Mobile USA where he served as Director of National Engineering Systems. At T-Mobile Keith was responsible for the planning and operations of the T-Mobile data centers supporting data services for more than 26 million mobile subscribers. While at T-Mobile, Keith also served as Director of Engineering and Operations at T-Mobile HotSpot, where he spearheaded the build-out and operations of T-Mobile’s nationwide Wi-Fi network (T-Mobile HotSpot). Keith also served as Director of Operations for MobileStar Networks, and held a number of technical leadership positions with Paging Network, Inc (PageNet).
Keith grew up in Louisiana and attended Northeast Louisiana University where he studied Business Administration. He is a distinguished veteran of the United States Air Force, where he served in the Air Force Special Operations and Strategic Air Commands. Keith currently serves on the IT Advisory Board at St. Petersburg College and is active in many other civic and professional organizations in the Tampa Bay area.
